I tried this bar because of the compliments I have read about it. Well....it didn&#39;t really deserved them. It was smoky, the music was low, the bar tenders were tired, and the cocktails were...average, not more. There are much better choices.

Amano Bar

Eat authentic German cuisine. We loved the place (although it does look a bit rough with lots of broken glass and debris). My husband ordered a large plate of pickle sausage. I ordered chicken chops and a bowl of pickles. We shared an apple pie. We also ordered 4 different ciders. Service was good and locals were everywhere. We were the only &ldquo;foreigners&rdquo; here. They had an English menu and helped a lot. Highly recommend this restaurant.

To eat a beef burger in the nearby Shiso Burger, Germany can&#39;t say any special dishes, except beer and big meat, everyone may like to eat beef burger. The location is still very good, the snacks inside are relatively simple, the menu is like a magazine, the overall is quite good, and the salmon grill is delicious, the meat patties are also very good, the lights are too dark.

I was staying at Hotel Amano so decided to see what the bar had to offer. It was very loud but no more so than most places. Like many of the reviews before state this bar was a smokers bar but there is a lovely sitting area in the hotel reception area which is much nicer to sit (maybe a tiny bit less atmosphere in quiet periods though) This bar is also very expensive - 10 euros for a vodka/mixer. All in all possibly not my cup of tea but I would recommend for the experience.

It&#39;s so outdated that you can smoke in most Berlin bars! Occasionally you will not be served in the smoke free lobby bar, you need to enter the terribly smoked bar to just order a dring ..... aaaarrrrg
